Performance Description: Bruce Smith plays a 2-Rope Kit with his feet. The bass drum hihats and cymbals worn on his back. The guitar provides a rhythm section while vocals harmonica kazoo and mouth trumpet provide melody. The head splash is a unique additional feature and musically provides a visual effect.

Repertoire: Bruce's repertoire uses up tempo popular anthems creates a happy energy. But, he can also play blues soul and country grooves suitable for a wide ranging audience.

Personal Description: Born in Brisbane into a musical family, Bruce started professionally playing music in his mid teens as a singer and front man for a number of groups. He also has strong guitar playing and drumming skills which eventually fused into the 1 Man Band show that he now performs. Bruce's many travels and experiences overseas give his show an interesting and original flavour, allowing for a variety of styles and languages.

Professional Experience: Bruce has worked overseas (mostly Japan) for the last 10 years at a huge variety of show venues including World Expos Festivals, Hotels, Corporate gigs and was a popular and heavily booked performer. Bruce played a 6 month contract at Expo 88 in Brisbane as part of a duo "The Fandango Brothers" and as the 1 Man Band on some occasions, the 1 Man Band having kicked off in 1987.
